There are hundreds of statistics relevant to women, but these are just numbers that can only come to life, if there is a “face” associated with them. That is the reason why DEMAC strongly promotes the written account of autobiographical and biographical stories of women, that supports the Women’s Alliance Cause.

By mastering your own writing ground women can clear their own thoughts and convey their own ideas. Yet still women have not found their own voice in this territory.

To be able to write and share our story, can also help us to discover much of our inner self’s, it allows us to be more objective and helps to leave a testimony of our experiences throughout life.

Writing an autobiography is a form of self-legitimize, without a doubt, writing our own story provides us with the tools to articulate our inner depths.

Through the DEMAC Awards we solely seek to aid every single women to find her own inner voice and to open the way to the opportunity of sharing your own experiences as well as bonding with women with different backgrounds and lifestyles, that share in common the courage to have written their own stories.
